Paul Conkling, MD

Paul Conkling, MD, joined Ontada as the senior medical director in 2022 after 33 years of clinical practice. Dr. Conkling is the author of more than 40 peer-reviewed papers and more than 65 abstracts, as well as a member of ASCO and AACR. During his time in clinical practice, his practice was one of the first to receive the ASCO Community Clinical Research Award. He subsequently helped develop the Virginia Oncology Associates practice, part of The US Oncology Network, and was actively involved in clinical research through US Oncology Research. He served as the research site leader for 25 years and developed and ran the Phase I clinical trial program at his practice.
